What Quick Import templates are
A Quick Import template is a pre-built mapping that matches columns from a known export source (for example a LinkedIn Sales Navigator CSV or a Mailchimp subscriber export) to a specific CRM's fields. You upload the source file, pick the template, and the column mapping plus cleanup settings are filled in for you.
Worked example: drop a LinkedIn Sales Navigator CSV. Operelio detects it from the column signature ("Connected on", "First Name", "Position") and suggests the LinkedIn Sales Nav to HubSpot Contacts template. Click apply, review the six mapped fields, run.
Templates are a shortcut, not a requirement. If your file does not come from a recognized source, you can still map columns manually against any of the eight built-in CRM formats, the Generic format, or a custom template.
Sources covered
Operelio ships 167 templates across LinkedIn (Sales Navigator, Connections), data providers (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Cognism, Lusha), email marketing (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign), Google Contacts, Outlook, ecommerce (Shopify, Stripe, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Wix), events and forms (Eventbrite, Calendly, Typeform), support (Intercom), and CRM-to-CRM migrations (Zoho to HubSpot, Salesforce to Pipedrive, and more).
Each template lists the source columns it expects. If your file has most of them, you get a high-confidence match and can proceed immediately. If only some match, the rest of the mapping auto-detects against your file's remaining columns.
How to pick a template
After uploading your file on the CRM Formatter's Format step, the Quick Import row shows templates ranked by how many columns match your file. Click one to preview the mapping before confirming. If none fits, use Browse all to see the full catalog filtered by source platform or target CRM.
Once you apply a template, you can still adjust any individual mapping on the Map step. Templates fill in sensible cleanup defaults too (trim whitespace, standardize email, split full name for sources with a single Name column), which you can override.
If you want to browse the full catalog before uploading anything, see the Template library guide. The library is the right starting point when you know the source and destination but want to confirm a template covers it.
Frequently asked questions
What if my file does not match any template?
Pick a CRM schema directly and let auto-map run against your columns. Templates save clicks but they are not the only path; manual mapping is equally fast on well-named columns.
Can I add my own templates?
Yes. After mapping a file manually, use Save mapping (Pro, Team, and Agency) to store your own reusable template. Your saved mappings appear alongside the built-in templates on the Format step whenever you upload a file that matches.
Do templates work on Free?
Yes, built-in templates work on every plan. Saving your own templates requires Pro.
