What it does
One output file from many inputs
Automatic header matching
Operelio matches columns whose headers are identical: same letters, casing, and spacing. If your files mix "Email" and "email", run Clean Headers first so the merge lines up.
CSV and Excel in the same job
Upload any mix of .csv, .xlsx, and .xls files. Operelio reads them all in one job, so you don't need to convert anything first.
Handles mismatched columns
When one file has a column the others don't, Operelio adds it to the output and leaves the missing cells blank. Every value lands in its right column, up to your plan's row limit.
Mismatch warnings
Before you run, Operelio shows a preview with a row count and any column drift. If a file has extra or missing columns, you'll see which one. Swap a file out, fix it, or let Operelio merge as-is and leave the gaps blank.

Merge Files is a Pro feature. Pro merges up to 10 files per job (25 MB each, 50,000 rows total). Team handles up to 15 files (35 MB each, 75,000 rows total). Agency handles up to 25 files (100 MB each, 150,000 rows total). Every plan takes CSV and Excel input and produces a single XLSX spreadsheet.

Merge Files FAQ
What happens when files have different columns?
The output has every column that appears in any file. Matching is by exact header name and is case-sensitive: "Email" and "email" become two separate columns. If one file has a column the others don't, that column is added and the missing cells are left blank.
Can I merge CSV and Excel files together?
Yes. Upload any mix of .csv, .xlsx, and .xls files. Operelio reads each format and combines them into a single output file.
How many files can I merge at once?
Pro plans merge up to 10 files per job. Team plans handle up to 15. Agency plans handle up to 25.
What's the row limit on the merged output?
Pro processes up to 50,000 rows per job; Team up to 75,000; Agency up to 150,000. If your combined files go over the cap, Operelio merges the rows that fit and shows a banner with the total and what was processed.
Does it work with multi-tab workbooks?
Yes, two ways. Merging separate files, each file card has its own tab picker, so every workbook contributes exactly the tab you choose (the first tab by default). Or switch the merge to combining one workbook's own tabs into a single list, with an optional Source Tab column recording which tab each row came from. Combining tabs is available on Pro and up.
Is Merge Files free?

Will the output have one header row or many?
One. Operelio reads each file's header row and writes one combined header to the output. All data rows from every file go below it, up to your plan's row limit.
What order are the rows in?
Rows are stacked in the order the files appear in your list, with each file's original row order preserved. You can reorder the files with the arrows on each file card before running.
