Head to head

Operelio vs Dedupely: a whole-file toolkit, or in-CRM dedupe.

Dedupely does one job, and does it well: merging duplicate records that already live in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive. Operelio cleans, verifies, and formats a whole file before it reaches the CRM, and dedupe is one step of that.

The short version

One job, or the whole file.

Choose Dedupely if

  • Your duplicates already live in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive and dedupe is the main job.
  • You want automatic merging on a schedule, following each CRM's own merge rules.
  • You need to merge at large scale directly in the CRM, with a merge log to show for it.

Choose Operelio if

  • You want to clean the whole file before import, not only remove duplicates.
  • You need verification, formatting, filtering, and column work alongside dedupe.
  • You want a flat price and a CRM-ready file you push on your own click.

Dedupe is one job; cleaning is many

Dedupely does deduplication well and little else. It matches and merges records inside your CRM, following that CRM's own merge logic. Operelio treats dedupe as one step of preparing a file: clean the headers, remove duplicates, verify the emails, filter the rows you want, pull columns from a second file, and format for the CRM. If your only problem is duplicates, Dedupely is focused. If the file needs more than that, Operelio does the whole job.

In the CRM, or before it

Dedupely runs inside your CRM. It checks for duplicates as records are created and can auto-merge on a schedule, which keeps a live database tidy over time. Operelio runs before the data lands: you prepare the file, then push a clean import. Both are useful, at different points in the same pipeline.

Pricing

The entry prices look close, about $40 a month for Dedupely and a flat $39 a month for Operelio Pro, but they scale differently. Dedupely charges by total record volume, rising to about $540 a month on the published tiers and custom pricing past two million records at the top tier. Operelio stays flat regardless of record count, and starts free. Check both sites for the latest numbers; ours are dated on this page.

When Dedupely is the right call

If your duplicates already sit in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive, and you want them merged automatically and kept from coming back, that is exactly what Dedupely does. Its scheduled auto-merge and real-time duplicate check are work Operelio does not do inside the CRM. Operelio is the better fit for preparing files before import; Dedupely is the better fit for ongoing dedupe once the data is in.

Questions

The Dedupely questions, answered.

Does Dedupely clean data before import?+

Mostly no. Dedupely merges duplicate contacts, companies, and deals that already live in your CRM. It has a narrow CSV mode that dedupes a file before upload, but it does not verify emails, standardize fields, filter, or format columns. Operelio cleans the whole file before it reaches the CRM.

Which CRMs does Dedupely support?+

HubSpot, Salesforce, and Pipedrive, the same three CRMs Operelio pushes a clean file into. Dedupely works inside those CRMs; Operelio prepares the file before it lands.

How much is Dedupely?+

It starts at about $40 a month for 30,000 records and scales by total record volume to about $540 a month on the published tiers, with custom pricing past two million records and a 7-day free trial. Operelio is a flat monthly price and starts free, as of July 2026.

Can Operelio merge duplicates already in my CRM?+

Operelio works on files. Export the records, remove duplicates and clean them in Operelio, then push the clean file back. For continuous, automatic merging inside the CRM, Dedupely is the specialist, and Operelio does not try to match that.

Do both do similarity matching?+

Yes. Both find duplicates beyond exact matches, so near-duplicates like a company with and without Ltd are caught. Operelio also verifies, formats, filters, and pulls columns from a second file in the same run.
