How to import Calendly data into Monday.com
Export your Calendly scheduled events and bring those invitees onto a Monday.com board. The two name columns combine into Monday.com's single Name column. Email and phone map to board columns, and the event type lands in the Notes column so each item shows what was booked.
Field-by-field mapping
This is the complete column mapping from Calendly to Monday.com. The left column is the header in your CSV export. The right column is the Monday.com field it should map to.
| Invitee First Name + Invitee Last Name | Name* Monday.com uses a single Name column on the item, so we combine the two Calendly columns into one. TransformInvitee First Name and Invitee Last Name combined with a space | |
| Invitee Email | Email TransformLowercased and trimmed | |
| Text Reminder Number | Phone TransformStandardized to international format (+1, +44, etc.) | |
| Event Type Name | Notes Calendly's Event Type Name records which meeting type each invitee booked. It maps directly to the Notes column so each item shows what was scheduled. |
Required by Monday.com.
Calendly exports vary based on questions added to event types. The core fields (name, email, phone, event type, time) are consistent.
Columns we don't use
Your Calendly export includes 3 columns this template doesn't map. Each one below explains why, plus the workaround if you want the data in Monday.com.
- Start Date & Time
Monday.com boards don't have a default scheduled-event date column.
If you need it. Add a Date column to your Monday.com board called Scheduled, then re-run this template to map Start Date & Time into it.
- Response 1
Calendly's custom-question responses depend on the booking form. There's no consistent default home on a Monday.com contact board.
If you need it. If Response 1 is always the same question (e.g. Company), add a matching column to the Monday.com board and re-run this template to map it.
- Invitee Time Zone
Monday.com boards don't have a default time-zone column.
If you need it. Add a Text column to your Monday.com board called Time Zone if your team operates across regions, then re-run this template to map it.
Formatting and cleanup
Calendly exports rarely match the format Monday.com expects. Fix these before you import.
- 1.Combines Invitee First Name and Invitee Last Name into Monday.com's single Name column
- 2.Lowercases and trims email addresses
- 3.Standardizes phone numbers to international format (+1, +44, etc.)
- 4.Maps Event Type Name to the Notes column so each item shows the booked meeting type

Calendly to Monday.com FAQ
How do I export events from Calendly?
In Calendly, go to your Scheduled Events page, click the export icon, select a date range, and download the CSV.
Why do you combine the two name columns?
Monday.com items have a single Name column. The template combines Invitee First Name and Invitee Last Name with a space so each item displays correctly on the board.
What if my booking form doesn't ask for a phone number?
Text Reminder Number is blank for invitees who skipped SMS reminders. Those rows still import; the Phone column just stays empty for them.
How does Monday.com handle duplicates on import?
Monday.com boards don't deduplicate on import. Every row in your CSV creates a new item. Run a deduplication pass on your CSV before uploading if invitees book multiple meetings.
Where do I import the CSV into Monday.com?
Open your contacts board, click the + at the top-right, choose 'Import from spreadsheet', and upload the file Operelio produces. The import wizard matches the column headers to your board columns.
