How to import Lusha Prospecting data into Monday.com
Lusha ships at least two CSV export shapes. This template handles the Prospecting export, the one with separate First name and Last name columns, Seniority and Departments, and a Phone 1 / Phone 2 structure. First name and Last name are combined into Monday.com's single Name column, work email and company map directly, and the job title goes to the Notes column since Monday.com boards have no default title column. Lusha runs on a credit-per-reveal model, so any Work email or Phone column can be blank for contacts you have not revealed yet. Phone 1 and Phone 2 are combined into Monday.com's single Phone column. If your export has a single Contact name column instead, use the Lusha User Data template.

Columns we don't use
Your Lusha Prospecting export includes 11 columns this template doesn't map. Each one below explains why, plus the workaround if you want the data in Monday.com.
- Seniority
Monday.com's default contact board has no seniority column.
If you need it. Add a Status or Dropdown column to your Monday.com board called Seniority, then map it by hand.
- Departments
Monday.com's default contact board has no department column. Lusha ships several departments per row, comma-separated.
If you need it. Add a Dropdown or Text column to your Monday.com board called Departments, then map it by hand.
- Phone 2, Phone 1 type, Phone 2 type
Monday.com's default contact board has one Phone column, which this template fills from the first available of Phone 1 and Phone 2. The second number and Lusha's phone-type labels have no native place on the board.
If you need it. Add Phone columns to your Monday.com board if you want the second number or the type labels kept.
- City, State, Country
Monday.com's default contact board has no address-block column set. Each piece needs its own column on the board.
If you need it. Add Text columns to your Monday.com board for City, State, and Country, then map them by hand.
- Company domain, Company number of employees
These are company-level data points. Monday.com's default contact board has no columns for them, and they belong on a company record rather than a contact.
If you need it. Add columns to your Monday.com board if you want them on the contact, or keep a separate company board and link the two.
- LinkedIn URL
Monday.com's default contact board has no LinkedIn column.
If you need it. Add a Link column to your Monday.com board called LinkedIn, then map this column to it by hand.

Lusha Prospecting to Monday.com FAQ
Which Lusha export does this template expect?
The Prospecting export, which ships separate First name and Last name columns, Seniority and Departments, and a Phone 1 / Phone 2 structure. If your export has a single Contact name column instead, that's the User Data export. Use the Lusha User Data to Monday.com Contacts template for that shape.
How do I export from Lusha?
In Lusha Prospecting, build your search, save the contacts to a list, then open the list menu and click Export to CSV. Lusha emails you a download link when the file is ready. Upload that CSV to Operelio.
Why do you combine First name and Last name?
Monday.com items have a single Name column, not separate first and last name columns. The template combines the two columns with a space so each item displays correctly on the board.
How does the template handle Lusha's two phone columns?
Lusha's Prospecting export ships Phone 1 and Phone 2, each with a sibling type column. Monday.com's default contact board has one Phone column, so the template fills it with the first available of Phone 1 and Phone 2. The type columns are listed in the Columns we don't use section.
How does Monday.com handle duplicates on import?
Monday.com boards don't deduplicate on import. Every row in your CSV creates a new item on the board. Run a deduplication pass on your CSV before uploading if you want to avoid duplicate items.
Where do I import the CSV into Monday.com?
Open your contacts board, click the + at the top-right, choose Import from spreadsheet, and upload the file Operelio produces. The import wizard matches the column headers to your board columns.
Why are some Work email and Phone columns blank?
Lusha uses a credit-per-reveal model, so contacts you haven't spent credits to reveal ship with blank email or phone columns. Operelio preserves those blanks rather than guessing values.
